Civil War Hardware & Miscellaneous

Well, this is the catchall page for those Civil War items that round out our line of products.  We are continually on the look for new items to reproduce; if you have any suggestions we would love to hear from you.

Finials:

After much hard searching we finally found someone who could turn exact copies of our original cartridge box and cap pouch finials.  Much different than those we have previously offered, I feel that these are some of the best reproductions available to date.  The originals were dug near Corinth, MS.

FN101 US Cartridge box finial, turned brass as per the original.

FN102 US Cap pouch finial, turned brass as per the original.

Musket Sling Hooks:

MH101 Musket sling hook, brass

Waist Belt Keepers:

WK101 Federal Waist belt keeper, brass

Knapsack Parts:

KP1  Brass hardware for Isaac & Campbell knapsacks also referred to as the Trotter knapsack is now in stock.  We have produced these in full size being careful to allow for casting shrinkage.  These are patterned from examples recovered south of Tullahoma, TN.  Includes two of each.

KP2 US Pattern Knapsack parts set.  Now Available.

Gauntlets:

GL102  Gauntlets, medium

GL103  Gauntlets, large

GL104  Gauntlets, extra large

Canteen Parts:

CK101  Federal Canteen Cork Assembly.

Sword Belt Accessories:

SH101 Officers sword belt snap hooks.  Copies of originals recovered near Bridgeport, AL.

SH102 Officers sword belt snap hooks.

(Examples of both styles are shown on page 200 of Echoes of Glory - Union Volume. Example of SH101 is shown on page 187 Echoes of Glory - Confederate volume.)

Note:  SH101 and SH102 are, as the name implies, to be used on officer sword belts with officer swords, not cavalry sabers.  Cavalry sabers were not attached to the belt with hooks.  I will not warranty these items if they are used in a manner they were not designed for.

SK101  Officer's Gold Sword Knot.

Miscellaneous:

SC101  Enlisted Shoulder Scales.  Copied from originals, these come with all the mounting hardware.

SP101 Spurs, Brass.  Copies of US issue spurs.

SP102 CS Spurs.  Similar to the Richmond pattern, originals were recovered SW of Columbia, TN in a CS camp sight.

CS101  Carbine Swivel.
